almost

since this blog has not been updated.... I am just putting up some comment...

we are almost the end of second semester now-- amazing!!
This semester has been.... well everyone has different opinion, right??
To me,,, it was ok--- at least I learn something.. you see
and I had some time to do other things, too!
anyway, Go UD team and hope we can promote our program to others so that they will know the importance of Urban design ... more than architecture architecture!!

Speaking of so... if I came up with some UD club ... or something would you consider joining?
we can submit group proporsal to school so that we can get funding for activities as well! and if it come to success.. then next year people can continue the group !!

FYI, I just came across the website for the Pratt Center, www.prattcenter.net.
It has interesting commnets on the Plan NYC 2030 as well as information for people doing work on Queens.

if you update your blogger profile, you'll notice that "urban design" is missing from the work industry list. i selected "architecture" instead. interesting how our field, with great potential to influence people's daily lives, is so easily overlooked in a forum where knowing another blogger's industry type could be crutial to understanding their point of view. small problem, yes - but does it hint at a larger problem? we'll figure out who we are and what we do, but what about everyone else?
